What's New in Tempered Strength, Update 2.1.0

This is our biggest update yet. It brings us the home screen and some highly requested features, a host of workouts and more!


Dashboard

The app now has a proper home screen. We've repurposed the existing accounts screen as the app's landing destination and extended it with a set of new sections. You'll find an active program summary block front and centre, so you can see exactly where you are in your current program the moment you open the app. Alongside that sits a recent personal bests panel and quick-access tools — with your subscriptions and settings still available further down the page as before.


Move Program Days

You can now reschedule sessions within your program. If life gets in the way of your planned schedule, you're no longer stuck — just move the session to a different day within your current week. This is phase one of session shifting, covering individual session rescheduling, with broader bulk-shifting functionality scoped for a future release.


Workouts Overhaul

Disciplines

A new scrollable disciplines bar now sits at the top of the Workouts screen. Tap a discipline — CrossFit, Hyrox, Pilates, and more — to immediately narrow the page down to relevant content. Each discipline surfaces curated workouts and blocks, making it much faster to find what you're actually looking for.

Filters cleanup

The workouts filter has been fixed so "All" and individual filter options (Partners, Equipment, etc.) can no longer be active at the same time. It now works as a proper one-at-a-time selector — choosing any specific filter deselects "All", and tapping "All" clears any active filters.


New Workouts — Pilates

18 new workouts. We've added a full suite of standalone Pilates sessions across Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, ranging from 20 minutes up to an hour. These are available on the Workouts screen without needing to enrol in a program, so you can drop in a Pilates session whenever it fits your week.


UI Tidy Up

Calendar slider

The sliding calendar at the top of the app has been redesigned for a smoother, cleaner feel. It's more responsive and easier to use when flicking between days.

Notes section

The notes section on program day screens has had a design pass — the "Copy notes from another workout" button has been cleaned up, and previous sessions now display in the correct chronological order rather than in reverse.
